Miloš Blahút is a teacher and scholar in Slovakia. He graduated from Prešov University where
he still teaches as an assistant professor at the Institute of British and American Studies. His
area of research is contemporary American fiction, with an emphasis on the poetics of Tom
Robbins, John Irving, and the manifestation of the Anthropocene in the Anglophone literature.
He has been organizing poetry and fiction reading events on campus, in which teachers and
students present their own literary works.
